Sharon Quinn

–

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Sharon Marie Quinn (Rodowicz), age 75, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, surrounded by the love of family and friends throughout her final days.

Born on February 5, 1950, in Philadelphia, Sharon was a devoted wife, mother and an adoring grandmother, qualities that were instilled in her by her mother, Eleanor, and her father, Norman. Her seven grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them whether through holiday traditions, cheering from the sidelines, playing games, doing arts and crafts (even virtually when they couldn’t be together), or dishing out Mentos and other candy from her purse. These simple moments became lasting memories. Her love for them knew no bounds and will continue to live on through them.

Proud of her Polish heritage, Sharon will be remembered for the way she brought family together, especially the joy she found in time spent with her siblings, nieces and nephews, and later her grandchildren, and in the traditions she so lovingly sustained. From sharing oplatek and kielbasa and eggs at Christmas time to singing Sto Lat at every birthday celebration, she ensured her heritage remained alive for generations to come, creating memories forever etched in the hearts of her family.

Sharon was deeply involved in the St. Albert the Great Church and school community during the years her children attended school there, years she remembered as especially busy, joyful, and fun. Whether helping with special lunches, serving as an SRA mom, being active in the Parents Association, or simply taking part in daily school life, she formed treasured friendships that lasted more than forty years and that she dearly appreciated. These relationships, built during shared years of parenting, faith, and community, remained a meaningful and happy part of her life.

Later, Sharon returned to work alongside her mother at the Union of Polish Women in America, a Polish fraternal organization that later became part of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America. Her work became a profound source of joy, community, and purpose for her. Sharon went on to dedicate twenty-five years of service to the organization, forming many lasting friendships and remaining actively involved in fraternal life long after her retirement.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Ed; her two children, Kelly (husband John) and Sean (wife Ashley); and her seven treasured grandchildren, Hannah, Conlan, Corson, Thomas, Kennedy, Quinn, and Tatum. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Norman (Kathy), Gayle (George), and Dan (Leann). She was preceded in death by her sister, Rosemarie.

Though deeply missed, Sharon’s legacy of faith, love, patience, and tradition will remain forever in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know and love her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Monday December 22nd 10:00 AM at St. Albert the Great Church 212 Welsh Rd. Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Funeral Mass 11:30 AM. Interment St. Dominic's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Albert the Great Church at the address listed above.
