Philip E. Roselli, 92, died Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Chandler Hall in Newtown, PA. Philip married his sweetheart, the late Mary A (Shissler) Roselli, January 20, 1943 for 63 years. He leaves his daughter, Kathleen E. Neopolitan and her husband Michael, his deceased son, Philip. E Roselli, Jr, and his daughter Teresa M. Roselli; 6 grandchildren, Michael Neopolitan, Jr., Nicole Neopolitan, Raymond Hinze, Lisa Gabrielsen, Sara Roselli, Elizabeth Rooney and 10 great grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.\n\nPhilip was born in South Philadelphia on June 18, 1924 and lived in Feasterville, PA for over 59 years. He retired from Ford Motor Company with over 40 years of service. He served in the United States Army in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in WW2 where he was stationed in France and then the Philippines. He played the saxophone and clarinet in the band for soldiers coming in from the battlefield while stationed overseas during WWII.\n\nPhilip was a loving, caring man who always welcomed you with open arms and hugs. He was known for his gathering of the family together for a party with dancing and singing. He had a passion for fixing anything and his garage and basement was always open and you would see him working on his car or lawn motor during his free time. Philip was a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia Phillies.\n\nHe made everyone feel special and had a wonderful outlook on life that proved to be a full, loving and long life.\n\nRelatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Tuesday, April 11th at 9:00-10:00 AM at St. Christopher Church, 13301 Proctor Rd., Phila, PA 19116. Funeral Mass starts at 10:00AM.
