Konstantinos Mitropoulos Obituary (1936 - 2024)

Konstantinos Mitropoulos, 88, passed away on July 6, 2024, after a long and tough battle with COPD. While fiesty and stubborn, he was the best husband,father, and grandfather in the world. There was nothing stopping him from providing and supporting his wife and family. Konstantinos emigrated to the USA, from Greece, with his wife Kyriakoula (nee Vellidou) in 1969 and their two children at the time, Steve Mitropoulos (10) and Mary Chaviaras (6) He was a barber by trade and had a passion for cutting hair. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Kiriakoula, his children, Steve, Mary, George and Donna, his 7 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. The funeral will be a private ceremony, remembering Konstantinos (Gus) in the presence of close family.
