Donnelly\n\nKathleen (nee Graham). Age 83, died on Feb. 10, 2020.\n\nBorn in Philadelphia on August 11, 1936, she was the second child of James and Anna Mae Graham, raised in a close-knit Port Richmond family, with her sisters Jean, Eileen and Maureen and brothers Jim and Bill. Mrs. Donnelly attended Nativity BVM grade school and in 1954 graduated from Little Flower High School.\n\nIn 1957, she married William Donnelly Jr. and they went on to have six children - Mary Beth, Maureen, Eileen, Terry, Rosemary and Carol. The Donnellys raised their children in Morrell Park, just up the street from Mrs. Donnelly's lifelong best friend Maryann Baranek, her husband Tommy, and their eight children. \n\nMrs. Donnelly was smart and curious, wry and funny, an avid reader and a connoisseur of crossword puzzles and of all things Harry Potter. She loved Bobby Darin, the beach and the theater. She made annual pilgrimages to Clearwater, Fla., for Phillies Spring Training, was a longtime Phillies season ticket holder, and never wanted to leave the ballpark before Harry Kalas sang "High Hopes." She was proud of her Irish heritage and steadfast in her faith, a longtime parishioner of Christ the King Church, where she served for many years as the director of religious education. She was the matriarch of an extended family whose closeness is her legacy. \n\nHer husband of 46 years predeceased her, as did her daughter Mary Beth, sisters Jean, Eileen and Maureen, brother Jim and granddaughter Bridget Kathleen Grimmer.\n\nMrs. Donnelly's survivors include her children Maureen (Carl) Gregory, Eileen (Lewie) Grimmer, Terry (Kim) Donnelly, Rosemary (Tim) Foley and Carol (Jeff) Baron; grandchildren Mary Beth, Claire and Caroline Gregory, Brian, Conor and Liam Grimmer, Grace Donnelly, Mary Kate, Graham, Will and James Foley, and Sean and Jake Baron. Her brother Bill Graham (Jean) and brother-in-law Stanley Kita also survive, as do many nieces and nephews and a legion of friends.\n\nFamily and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday, Feb. 17 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 18 from 9:00 AM till 10:00 AM at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 3252 Chesterfield Rd., Philadelphia, Pa 19114.
