RILLING, John D. “Jack,” December 19, 2025, age 82. Beloved husband of 61 years of Barbara E. (nee Murray). Loving father of John D. (Maureen Ryan) and Susan Rilling Haitsch (George). Cherished Grandpop of Margaret Mary and Joseph Rilling, and Claire and G. David Haitsch. Dearest brother of Harry A. Rilling. Predeceased by his parents and his sister Ann “Nancy” Shaughnessy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Jack was a 1960 graduate of Northeast Catholic High School for Boys and earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from La Salle University. His career spanned six decades, principally in the defense industry, and he retired from Engility Corporation.

Jack was a kind and gentle man, of the highest personal and professional integrity. He provided generously and selflessly for his family. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to Jack’s funeral on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Parish Church of Saint Christopher, 13301 Proctor Road. Philadelphia, PA 19116. Viewing beginning at 9:30 AM followed by Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent "in memory of John D.
