John "Jack" Flanagan
Aka, Flambo, Jackie Whispers, a cherished individual, was welcomed into heaven on September 17, 2024. Jack lived a life filled with tremendous passion. Jack was strong willed and stubborn at times but he also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor and love of life. He embodied the best qualities; unconditional love, loyality, strength of spirit and an unending generosity. He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them - and if you knew him, you knew it. Jack loved all Philly sports teams, boating, the beach, and Notre Dame Football and most of all, his family and friends. Jack was predeceased by his loving parents, John and Elizabeth (Tettemer), daughter Kelly (Flanagan) Curry, sister Diane and brother Brian, brother-in-laws Jerry Solenski, Michael Solenski and Reds Boyle. Jack's departure leaves an unfillable void to his adoring wife Donna, stepson Paul (Stacey) Rymal, the light of his life, his grandson Ryan, Jack's siblings Karen (Bob) Gifford, Gail (Steve) Gillis, Patrick, Denise (Tom) McGuigan), Kevin and his second family, Pat Valentine, Pat Solenski, Rosemary Boyle, Robert, Thomas and Dorothy Solenski, many loved nieces and nephews and Flanagan cousins. There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed Jack was for his dearest friends Chas, Larry and Wayne. Jack, a beacon of kindness and love will forever reside in our hearts. In typical Jack fashion, there are no services planned, certainly no pomp and circumstance. A Mass of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmevillw Road, Bensalem, PA at 11:00 AM. Jack had a great devotion to veterans and first responders. Donations in his memory can be made to Tunnel To Towers Foundation. We will always love you and miss you Jack. Until we meet again.
