John D. Czerw – Beloved Heart of Czerw’s Kielbasa
John D. Czerw, the vibrant heart and soul of Czerw’s Kielbasa, passed away on June 18, 2025 at the age of 54, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, dedication, and community in Philadelphia. Born to Thaddeus and Jennie Czerw, John was predeceased by his loving parents, who instilled in him a passion for family and tradition.
John is survived by his devoted girlfriend, Nicole C. Crouse, whose love brought joy to his life. He was a cherished brother to Dennis, Stephen, and Jeffrey (Lisa) Czerw, and a beloved brother-in-law to Michael Crouse (Jennifer). As a proud son-in-law to Christine Crouse, John embraced his extended family with open arms. His playful spirit shone through as the fun-loving uncle to Dennis, Brenna, Jeffrey, Zachary, Alexander, and Phil, and great-uncle to Chase, Quinn, Harper, Arielle, and Carson. John’s loyal companions, Ted-Ted and Deputy, were his best buds, always by his side.
Known for his unwavering commitment to Czerw’s Kielbasa, John poured his heart into the family business, preserving its heritage while welcoming all with his infectious smile and generous spirit. His impact on his community and loved ones will be felt for generations.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Thursday June 26th 10:00 AM at Nativity BVM Church 2535 E. Allegheny Ave. Phila., PA 19134. Funeral Mass 12 Noon. Interment Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
