Glen Mills, Pennsylvania
With a sparkle in her eye that rivaled the brightest star, Jean E. Strzepek embarked on her next grand adventure on March 24, 2025. Known affectionately as Nanni, Jean was born in the heart of Philadelphia, PA, on February 8, 1926. She spent most of her vibrant life in the lovely city, before making her final residence in the welcoming community of Glen Mills, Pennsylvania. Nanni was a resilient spirit, a smart woman who navigated life with a blend of loyalty, love, and a dash of sass. To quote Maya Angelou, "My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style." Jean embodied this to a tee, thriving in every sense of the word.
Jean was an employee at JC Penney’s and Villager. Her colleagues and friends will remember her fondly for her quick wit, undying resilience, and loving care. Jean was a proud member of the Concord Seniors Club. She could be found indulging in her favorite pastimes. She was a smart shopper, with a keen eye for deals and the latest fashion. A self-proclaimed princess, and let’s not forget Jean loved her hair, TV dinners, and sweets. She could whip up a mean Salisbury steak microwave meal like nobody’s business and her sweet tooth was legendary, all of which contributed to her unique and lovable charm.
Jean leaves behind a loving family, her daughters, Connie Jablonowski (Joe) and Sandra Kwiatkowski(John) and her grandkids, Lauren Lucini (Jay) Adrienne Stewart ( Ryan) and Noel Kwiatkowski(Jeanine) and many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren survive her. Nanni was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry Strzepek, her parents, Leon and Josephine Maszkiewicz, and her grandson, Jason Kwiatkowski.
We encourage everyone to share memories and upload photos of Jean to her memorial page. Let's celebrate Jean’s life, remembering the love, laughter, and joy she brought to us all.
