CPO3 James T. Wallace, 87, formerly of Gettysburg, passed away Friday September 7, 2018. He was born March 19,1931 in New Orleans LA to the late James L. Wallace and the late Velma (Bordelon) Wallace. Jim served in the Navy for 20 years and was a proud veteran of the Korea and Vietnam Wars. After his military retirement Jim was employed for over 20 years with PEPCO Energy of Washington D.C. Jim's third and final career was with Eastern National, working at the Gettysburg National Military Park Visitor's Center. He was a Gettysburg resident for over 50 years, a civil war buff, and loved the community. Jim had many interests including history, reading, travel, playing cards, and spending time with his beloved wife, the late Jane E. Wallace. Jim and Jane were married in November 1991 and enjoyed spoiling their grandchildren, spending time with family, and their Friday date nights. He is survived by his lovng stepchildren Julie (Brian) McCall of Roebling NJ, and Major Jeffrey Klein of Hanover PA; grandchildren Amanda, Alexander and Morgan; great-grandchildren Kristopher and Jasen. Final disposition will be private.
