Hugh Joseph Breen Obituary (1959 - 2018) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Hugh J. Breen III of Rockledge, PA passed away on December 29, 2018, at the age of 59, after a short but hard fought battle with cancer. Hugh was born on May 15, 1959 to the late Hugh and Mary (Hauck) Breen and followed in his family's tradition as a tavern/restaurant owner operating Breen's Huntington Inn for the last 32 years. Hugh is survived by his loving children Hugh (Dannah) Breen, Shannon (Confesor) Rosales, Jaclyn Breen (Nick Dougherty) and Shane Breen (Lauren Mechmann) along with his 8 beloved grandchildren. Hugh is also survived by his partner and best friend of 21 years Carol Fagan and her children Lauren, Jordan, and Michael. Hugh was the dear brother of Maryellen Eberly, Patrice (Joe) O'Neill, Denise (Mike) Hilpl, Edward (Patrice) Breen, Sheila (Steve) McClaren, Colleen (Vince) Rodden, Sean Breen (the late Stephanie) and Maureen Melchoirre. His family also includes numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at Malloy Funeral Home 625 Byberry Road, Phila, PA 19116 on Sunday January 27, 2019 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM. On Monday January 28th, visitation will be held at St Christopher's Church 13301 Proctor Rd. Phila., PA 19116 beginning at 9:45 AM followed by mass at 11:00 AM.
