George J. passed away on August 10, 2025 at the age of 83. Beloved Husband of 55 years to Eileen (nee Conklin). Loving Dad of Rev. George J. Szparagowski, Edward A. Szparagowski and Eileen A. Drab (Walt). Poppie of Alexis, Walter and Benjamin. Brother of Michael, Joseph, Gregory, the late Robert Szparagowski (Cass) and the late Sissy Szparagowski. George was a retired Philadelphia Firefighter. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation Saturday August 16th 9:30 AM at Nativity BVM Church 2535 E. Allegheny Ave. Phila., PA 19134. Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Francis Inn 2441 Kensington Ave. Phila., PA 19125.
