Brian James Kelly Jr., 46, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania found peace suddenly on December 29, 2016. Brian was a kind and generous soul. His greatest joys in life included his soulmate Carol Rice, his "girls" Jacqueline, Kaitlyn, and Erin, and adoring grandsons Kieran Wynne and Mark Szalejko Jr. He is also survived by his loving mother Madeline Bauer (nee. Hofner), sister Rita Kelly (Wesley Terkay), brother Timothy Kelly and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Brian was very passionate about many things in life. Education was one of them. He was a Girard College alumni class of 1988, which he took great pride in. He also took great satisfaction that all of his daughters were College educated. Doting on his grandsons was one of his greatest pleasures. He finally got his boys, and he reveled in it. He was an ice cream connoisseur, a coffee fanatic, and a professional with a Hoover vacuum. He was a dedicated daddy and knew all of the best playgrounds and trails. He was a master with directions and was the most intelligent man around. He was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He was most proud of his career as a glazier.

Services will commence in his honor on Tuesday, January 3 at Reilly-Rakowski Funeral Home at 2632-34 E. Allegheny Avenue from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. A prayer service will be held at 8 PM. All are welcomed to attend.
