M A R Q U E S S \n\n Arthur B. Jr. on March 11, 2020. He was 72 years old. Art was preceeded in death in death by his son Art, his parents Art and Frances (Quinn). He is the loving husband of 48 years to Carol (nee Horton). Devoted Dad of Anne-Marie Spano (Tony), Matthew (Danielle), Mary Kate Cellmer (Trent) and Dixie Holden (Arnold). Grandpop of 12, Great Grandpop of 3. Brother of Marie Schaefer (Al), Margaret Synakowski (Ed). He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, in laws and friends. \n\n Art was born in Port Richmond section of Philadelphia and moved to Trevose in 1978. Art was instrumental in raising funds and erecting a monument in Port Richmond honoring the Port Richmond Vietnam Vets. Above all, Art was most proud of his Army service in Vietnam where he was awarded a Bronze Star for Heroism, Purple Heart, Good Conduct, Army Commendation, Air Medal while serving with the 173rd Airborne Infantry Brigade.\n\n He was a paperhanger by trade and retired from Local D.C. 21 after 25 years. He was a huge EAGLES fan and a season ticket holder with his sons and brother Bill. \n\n Art never had a beer he didn't like, warm or cold. In lieu of flowers raise a toast to ART and GO BIRDS!!!!!!!\n\n\n Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday March 16th 9:30 AM at Calvary Chapel 13500 Philmont Ave. Phila., PA 19116. Memorial Service 11:00 AM. Interment at a later date in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
